Valentine’s Day it’s always a good time to reflect on what it means to love. So much of the world we live in today is surrounded by hate and fear. 

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”  

The Bible goes on to say in John 15 verse 13, “greater love has no one but this:  to lay down one’s life for one’s friend.”

I believe these verses describe what it truly means to love. It would do us all good to spend our time reflecting on this kind of love today.  I wonder what kind of world we would live in if we all practiced this kind of selfless love.
